Global Warming and disasters

      It is defined as ‘the increase in the average temperature of the Earth’s near-surface air and oceans’.Simply,it is the increase of temperatures around the world.Governments worldwide,so as to take steps to reduce global warming,have signed the Kyoto Protocol,aimed at reducing greenhouse gases that cause the climate change.You too,can join in the fight against global warming.You can use more public transport,switch off the computer when you are not using it(standby does not count),you can bring your own bag/s to the supermarket,even stop using air-conditioners,and use the fan!

       It is but a small difference,but it will help.Its Your Choice.

My results,Blah blah blah………….

Wow.I got 265 for my SA1 and i’m 2nd in class,3rd in level(so says the top pupil).I must say,these results are certainly surprising as I acheived my target for PSLE,which is ‘At least above 260′.Here are my results(Raw score though,not calculated out to add together as my PSLE score)

English-Forgot:-( Yeah,my memory’s really bad so I will try to update this as much as possible.

Maths-98/100 Whoopee!!!!!!!!

Chinese-76/90 Well, not so bad:-|

Science-86/100(actually I had 82,but after finding 3 mistakes,I got 84(2 were worth half-mark each,and the other got 1 mark)Then I got another 2 marks for something I do not know(Was it that 1 of the questions were faulty?)

So you see,my results need improving.I shall continue to forge on and IMPROVE!!!!(PS:Gud luk 2 all mi clasmat3s!)

The Passing Years

Every year goes by in a blink of an eye.Soon,I will have to leave Anderson Primary and my friends for a new school.Looking back,I still remember many things that gave me great joy.Before the IT cafe,there was a place where you could do your homework and have many hiding places for the games that were played.The spiral staircase,which is now closed,was used during recess by me and some friends to play games.I played badminton at the back of the IT cafe.It seems so sad that I cannot go back to Anderson with all its memories.But,time cannot be reversed,so I will have to be content with my future.

New Updates in Maple!!!!

Finally,the herb town PQ is here!!!!Looking forward to meeting Lord Pirate of something like that.And in kerning add new mob-shade.In SG,new mapps!!!!Can’t waIT to visit them and play.In school,well,nothing’s interesting except some lessons.The compter lab’s having some trouble (leaking ceiling)and IT WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.Pity.I was loking forward to beating my highscore(10960)in a NE game which Mr. Fong says that is neccesary for all P6.Well,maybe next week will be more interesting.And I went to my friend Jarrell’s birthday party yesterday!Note to any ppl visiting this blog and is my maple frens:i will be inactive until 10th of oct this year as my final year exams are 7 or 6 months away.Pls don kik me.TYTY.BB for now~

Dreams

A dream can be something you think of when you’re asleep.Like the time i dreamt of two people trapped in a room inside a dark,dark room with only a bunch of candles for a light source.Or a dream can be what you aspire to do.For me,I want to be a game designer.i know learning programming language can be boring,but it’s rewarding for me.i can do things,like making a character move in a complicated and beautiful way to attack,or creating special effects,like when leveling up.It’s a form of art.I always can get a kick out of watching the wonderful animations of Maplestory players(maplers)attacking or casting a skill.It’ll be worthwhile seeing all those players enjoying the fruit of my labour.And I can test it out too if i play that game.But i’ll still do maths.It’s my fav subject.maybe i’ll need my piece of talent(Maybe 1/10000000000……well,add 1billion more zeros)to learn programming.maybe i’ll find my calling in life when i’m an adult.A vet?An artist?Who knows.

School

   Back to school,and I feel a tiny,little bit bored by Maths.Most of the sums are too easy and the topic ‘time’ is like err….Pri 2 or 3 standard.Oh well,suppose its revision.Jia Rui’s a little discouraged now as he has gotten,well,marks,he quotes:”Average”.I fell down yesterday in a playground,and have to limp.Almost everyone’s saying that IF I go for plastic surgery to change my looks,I might as well become MS(Mas Selamat)AND I AM NOT HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mi trip to SMRT headquarters

Two days ago,I went to SMRT headquarters near Raffles City.In its auditorium,my cassmates watched a short video about SMRT.Before that,we was given a crossword puzzle which we were supposed to do after watching the video.More than half of us finished the crossword before the video ended.Heeheeeheee.Then the lady asked us some questions.We gained a bit of knowledge.Then we went to Marina Bay’s MRT station to learn about safety. Then we went back to the headquarters,and it was back to school.I had to hurry as mi tuition was at 5.00 pm that day.Really enjoyed that day,BUT EVERYONE KEEPS CALLING ME COUNT BACON/IVAN!IVAN WAS PRONOUNCED WRONGLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 I’m quite pleased with mi results but hav to definetely improve.Especially in all of them.Must GET ABOVE95% FOR MATHS!!Hehe.On the last day of term1,wehad a swimming carnival.Was fun when i had to get these balls to put in a basket.Well,as seen by many,the girls were rougher than us boys(Grr..).BOOM!SPLAAAASH!!I almost drowned everyone in mi class when i had to leave the pool.:-P
